Pricing

Every quote is two numbers, not one: hardware, and the fee for the work.

No bundled price with a markup hiding inside it. You see what the parts cost and what you're paying for the build, the install, and the relationship, every time.

Custom Builds

Built for what you actually run

Every build is spec'd around the software your team opens every day. Hardware ranges reflect real spec variation within a tier, but the build & install fee is flat no matter where you land. Your exact number lands in the itemized quote after a consult.

Full Setup

Not just the tower

Monitors, keyboard, and mouse, sourced and installed alongside any build tier, whether it's a new seat at the firm or a home office setup.

Monitors

Single, dual, or multi-monitor arrays sized to the software you're running: color-accurate panels for design work, higher refresh for anything real-time.

Keyboard & Mouse

Reliable, comfortable peripherals matched to daily use, from a quiet office-friendly set to something built for long sessions at a home desk.

Full Install

Cabling, mounting, and configuration handled on-site, so the machine and everything around it is ready the moment you sit down.

Monitors, keyboard & mouseQuoted with your build
Priced at cost for the hardware plus a flat install add-on, scoped to exactly what the desk needs. Works as an add-on to any tier above, or on its own for an existing machine.

Care Plans cover the machine: hardware diagnostics, drivers, firmware, and performance. They're not support for the CAD, engineering, or creative software your team runs (Revit, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.), which stays with your software vendor or in-house IT.

What a Care Plan gives you

Priority response, drivers and firmware kept current, and a direct line to the person who built your machines, so small issues get caught on a regular schedule instead of turning into downtime.

Why It's Priced This Way
Hardware stays close to cost. The fee is for the work, and for knowing it was done right.

Marking up parts to pad a number is easy, but it's the fastest way to lose trust with a client who can look up the same part online. Keeping hardware transparent and pricing the build & install fee as its own line means the fee can grow honestly, through better guarantees, faster turnaround, and stronger supplier relationships, without ever looking like a hidden charge.

As supplier relationships mature, hardware cost on the back end comes down. That savings doesn't get passed on as a lower sticker price; it gets reinvested into the service fee. Faster lead times, guaranteed-authentic parts, and stronger warranty backing become the reason the fee is what it is.

The Market

Where this fee actually sits

A quick, honest look at what the alternatives cost, so the number above isn't just a number.

OptionWhat you actually getTypical price
DIY (self-build) You source every part, assemble it, troubleshoot driver issues, and stress-test it yourself, on your own time, with no warranty behind it. $0 fee
Big-box assembly
e.g. Micro Center
Parts physically installed. No burn-in testing, no OS/driver setup, no delivery, no relationship after checkout. $149 – $199
Freelance / gig builders
national marketplace average
Build labor for a complex job. No local relationship, no warranty backing, no in-person delivery or setup. $300 – $500+
Premium boutique specialists
e.g. Puget Systems
Full white-glove build, extensive testing, dedicated support, but the fee is folded into the system price, not itemized, and the total sits at an enterprise price point. Not itemized
CorsaWorks Burn-in tested, OS & driver setup, delivered and set up in person, a direct line to the person who built it, plus an optional Care Plan after. $350 / $500 flat

The build & install fee sits above bare assembly-only services because it includes real testing, setup, and delivery, and below enterprise-boutique pricing because it's a flat, itemized number instead of a markup folded into the total. That's the middle ground this business is built on.

Pricing FAQ

Still have a pricing question?

Why is hardware priced at cost instead of marked up?

Because the fee for a build should come from the work, not from a hidden markup on parts you could price-check yourself. It's also what makes it fair to raise the service fee later: there's nothing to hide.

Why is there a range instead of one fixed number?

Two reasons. Real specs vary within a tier: RAM, storage, and GPU choice all move the number. And part prices themselves shift with the market, depending on the timing of your build, the same component can cost more or less based on demand. You'll get one specific, itemized number in your quote after a quick consult.

What determines where I land in a tier's range?

Mostly the exact software and workload you run day to day. A firm doing heavy simulation work lands higher in a tier than one doing lighter modeling, for example.

Does the Care Plan price ever change?

It's set at signup and reviewed if the scope of what's being supported changes materially, like more machines or more on-site frequency. You'd be told before any change, not after.

Does a Care Plan include support for my CAD or engineering software?

No. A Care Plan covers the hardware: diagnostics, drivers, firmware, and performance. It does not cover the professional software itself (Revit, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.). That stays with your software vendor or in-house IT; if the issue turns out to be the machine, that's exactly what the Care Plan is for.
